Our Favorite Palettes

Lets talk about eyes. We discuss lipsticks and highlighters, but I feel like the eyes don’t get as much love from me as they should. So today I will tell you guys all about my favorite eye shadow palettes.

First and foremost, Natasha Denona! This year I have purchased both of the 28-pan shadow palettes and I absolutely love them. These palettes are good for festive, glittery, special event looks. They are not every day kind of palettes but they are still, in my opinion, a must have. These shadows are super creamy and blend very well. Yes, there is fall out with these pigments. However, I don’t mind that with any eye shadow and it’s never a factor that prevents me from using a palette. These eyeshadows are pricy, not going to lie BUT if you love glitter, glamour and glitz definitely get your hands on these (Holiday gifts ). I also purchased the Star palette by Natasha Denona and it’s also a good one and more usable for everyday kind of looks.

The second palette that I will talk about is one that I created myself with Gorgeous Cosmetics. Earlier on in the year I watched a video by CoffeebreakwithDani and she discussed making a palette with this brand. She swatched this one beautiful mauve taupy color and I was done for. I needed to have this color and since Dani had a coupon code, I went ahead and made a palette of my own. Unfortunately, I messed up a bit and put in two colors that are the same, but it is still a great palette that I use on days that I want a mauve smoky eye. The quality of these shadows is amazing. They are super creamy and smooth. The pigment is great and there is minimal fall out. I have used this palette quite often this past year and I highly recommend you guys check out this company and maybe make a palette for yourself J.

What would a blog post about eye shadows be if I didn’t mention my absolute favorite Viseart palette. The 01 Neutral Matte one is the one I like the best and use the most. If you are into matte neutral looks, this is your guy. This palette has everything you need, blending shades, darker brown ones, cool and warm tones, and a black. The quality of these shadows is out of this world. They basically blend themselves and your eye look will never look bad with these. These are definitely top notch and I use this palette all the time.

Now let’s take it back…way back…The OG Urban Decay Naked Palette. Not much to say here. It’s one of my first expensive palettes and I love it. I don’t use it as much anymore only because I have so many new ones, but I do love it so. It’s a perfect mix of shimmery and matte colors and the quality is great. This palette is a perfect one to start your makeup collection with. It’s not too expensive and will last a long time. It’s definitely great gift for someone who is just starting out on his or her makeup journey.

And the last palette I will talk about is the Huda Beauty Rose Gold one. This is a recent purchase (and one that suffered greatly at the hands of my toddler right after I took the picture of it for this blog) but it has quickly made its way to my top palettes list. Unfortunately, this palette is limited edition and is sold out everywhere but if you can somehow get your hands on it, do it. This is an amazing palette that has everything that one might need, cool tones, warm tones, blending colors, mattes and shimmers, and even foiled pigments for that special touch. The colors are very pigmented and blend well. This palette lacks in the packaging department, but that doesn’t bother me at all. Over all, this palette is great.
